    lack of outdoor activities

We had an amazing time at the hotel! The suite with the open-air cypress bath was incredible, allowing us to relax in comfort. The breathtaking views while soaking made our stay unforgettable. Every meal was a feast, highlighting exquisite Japanese cuisine that exceeded our expectations.

My kids wished there were more outdoor activities for them to enjoy. A family-friendly play area would be perfect.

Staying in the premium suite with semi open-air bath was awesome! The room had a beautiful view of a large stream. Loved the private onsen, it filled with hot spring water 24/7. Meals were delicious, especially the traditional Kaiseki dinner. The staff was super helpful, they even translated menus for us. Very cozy vibe, and we lounged in slippers and yukatas all day!

    kaiseki dinner

    Must-visit for couples seeking peace

The private onsen in the room was quite the experience, I mean, a hot soak while looking out at the river is positively invigorating. And the kaiseki dinner was a culinary journey, I felt like I was at a true gourmet restaurant far beyond my usual standards.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but for what we got, you know what? It was reasonable.

Had an awesome stay with my friends! We explored the nearby Jakotsu river flow and took a break at the garden court, which was so relaxing. The private onsen was a highlight, and the kaiseki dinners were a treat! The staff were super helpful and even picked us up from the train station. Great value for what you get!

The only downside was that the beds weren't the most comfortable for the price we paid. A better mattress would really improve the experience.

This place was a strong match for a short stay in Hakone with good value. They picked us up in their van despite being before check-in time. Be cautious of the heavy luggage if you're coming by bus since the hotel is on a hill.
