Must-visit for couples seeking peace
The private onsen in the room was quite the experience, I mean, a hot soak while looking out at the river is positively invigorating. And the kaiseki dinner was a culinary journey, I felt like I was at a true gourmet restaurant far beyond my usual standards.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but for what we got, you know what? It was reasonable.

Had an awesome stay with my friends! We explored the nearby Jakotsu river flow and took a break at the garden court, which was so relaxing. The private onsen was a highlight, and the kaiseki dinners were a treat! The staff were super helpful and even picked us up from the train station. Great value for what you get!
The only downside was that the beds weren't the most comfortable for the price we paid. A better mattress would really improve the experience.

This place was a strong match for a short stay in Hakone with good value. They picked us up in their van despite being before check-in time. Be cautious of the heavy luggage if you're coming by bus since the hotel is on a hill.
